Networking Programme

Networking is a crucial element of BTM. The informal environment brings buyers and suppliers closer together in a social setting, allowing delegates to get to know one another a little better.

The networking programme at BTM 2011 is still being finalised but will include the following.

Opening reception

Open to VIP Hosted Buyers and sponsors only, the reception on the night before BTM starts is the perfect ice-breaker. The BTM team and advisory board will be on hand to encure that buyers get to know each other and make the most from their time at BTM 2011.

BTM Party

The business travel industry loves a good party – especially one that combines networking with social contact. The BTM Party takes place at a specially selected venue close to ExCeL and takes place on the middle evening of Business Travel Market.  The event will be informal, but with plenty to eat - and excellent entertainment.

VIP Hosted Buyer Lounge

The VIP Hosted Buyer Lounge is the central feature of BTM 2011, with access strictly for hosted buyers only. The lounge provides an ideal venue or discreet meetings for two or more persons, includes a hospitality area which will serve hot & cold drinks and light snacks, and is a central point to which the sponsor could invite all hosted buyers for a private reception. Clubhouse

The central feature of Business Travel Market 2011 will be a double-deck clubhouse bar erected in the middle of the exhibition floor. The Clubhouse will be the principal area delegates go for a private snack or refreshments during the event without having to leave the exhibition hall, and will be used for press conferences & two coffee breaks on each day of BTM.

Coffee Breaks

In response to requests from VIP Hosted Buyers, BTM is introducing two coffee breaks, midway through the morning and afternoon programmes on each day. Each day’s two coffee breaks are offered as a sponsorship package, so one sponsor will enjoy two opportunities in which to network with VIP Hosted Buyers. All coffee breaks will take place at the Clubhouse
