About Business Travel Market

Moving into its 3rd year in 2011, Business Travel Market is the only event in Europe that offers a fully hosted buyer programme to corporate travel buyers spending over €300,000 per annum on behalf of their organisations.

Each hosted buyer receives complimentary accommodation and travel to the event, in return for meeting with suppliers of their choice from the 100+ exhibiting at BTM.

Business Travel Market is also the only industry conference and exhibition that both buyers and suppliers can attend, free of charge.

Our objective is to deliver quality rather than quantity to exhibitors and sponsors. In 2011, we expect around 3,000 non-hosted corporates, agencies and suppliers from every sector of the business travel and meeting industries to join up to 500 VIP Hosted Buyers for BTM 2011 at London’s ExCeL

They will be coming to find new suppliers, learn about and share best practice, and make new business contacts in a relaxed and informal environment.

What makes Business Travel Market really tick is a sophisticated meetings diary system that allows buyers and exhibitors to pre-plan their time at the event, request and accept meetings and book seats at conference sessions.

Through this system, exhibitors and buyers have access to detailed information about each other, ensuring that every meeting is meaningful.

Each VIP Hosted Buyer agrees to meet with our exhibitors and sponsors during their stay. Buyers and exhibitors can arrange as many 1-2-1 meetings as they choose, with meetings taking place either on exhibitors’ stands or inside the VIP Hosted Buyer Lounge, Business Centre or other feature areas.

So our delegates make the most of their time out of the office, whilst exhibitors enjoy a fully quantifiable Return on Investment by measuring the number of effective meetings that take place.
